NEWT, as the native token of the Newton protocol, is used to support protocol security, proxy registration, on-chain permissions, and governance, as well as the Gas token of the protocol.

According to MGBX, the exchange launched three new perpetual futures trading pairs on June 5 at 18:00 SGT: BTWUSDT, EWTUSDT, and LLYUSDT. BTW and EWT support up to 25x leverage, while LLY supports up to 20x leverage.

Gate's Contract Stock section has launched EWT and KWEB perpetual contracts for live trading. Both contracts support USDT settlement and offer 1-20x leverage for long and short positions.
EWT (iShares MSCI Taiwan ETF) tracks the MSCI Taiwan 25/50 Index and trades in USD, covering Taiwan's large-cap and mid-cap quality stocks. KWEB (Harvest CSI Overseas Internet ETF) tracks the CSI Overseas Internet Index and holds China's core internet assets listed overseas.
Both perpetual contracts are now open for trading. Users can select their desired leverage multiple when placing orders.
