Just now my phone popped up a notification about a "large on-chain transfer," and when the red dot flashed, I thought someone was up to something again… When I clicked in, the timestamp was already a few minutes old. To put it simply, what you see as "on-chain" is separated by several layers—nodes, RPC, indexers—and some even cache or queue, and different platforms may display the same transaction in different orders.

So recently, when I see people monitoring hot and cold wallet movements on exchanges and interpreting them as "smart money," I first hold back for two minutes before drawing conclusions… Sometimes it's not that others move faster, but that you're seeing slower. Anyway, I now get into the habit of opening two sources for comparison, then check the number of block confirmations, otherwise, it's easy to be misled by delayed screenshots. That's all for now.
