Don't remind me again today

I received a private message late last night, and after reading it, I felt uneasy.

The brother who sent the message said: "It is said that the first knife after success will be aimed at the closest person, but I didn't expect to be the first one to be cut by the closest person today."

They met when they were at their poorest. At that time, he worked as a security guard in the neighborhood, while his girlfriend earned over thirty thousand a month at a foreign company. But she never looked down on him; after work, she would run to the security booth, and the two of them could laugh happily even while squeezing into a rented room.

Later, he resigned to focus on trading, and indeed turned his life around when the market was good. He changed his house, bought a car, but his relationship came to an end.

He said the reason for the crash was particularly small - he accidentally turned off the location function on his newly bought phone. His girlfriend felt he was hiding something, and he explained that it was just a habitual privacy protection, as this is how people who trade do.

In the end, he managed to say: "Focusing on one thing will inevitably mean losing some other things."

This remark left me stunned.

To be honest, they didn't have much money in the past, but they had a lot of time to cook together, take walks, and stay up late watching shows. Now he can buy her bags that she never dared to dream of before, but they can never get back that feeling of "being happy even with nothing."

He said to me: "The person who walked with you through the toughest times, when you become successful, you find it even harder to let go. But she seems to think the task is done, and now that she sees me standing up, she wants to leave. But I don't want to let her go just because I've improved."

Towards the end, he苦笑着 admitted: this line of work may really not be suitable for dating.

When the market fluctuates, emotions follow suit. Losing money makes one irritable and unfriendly to everyone; making money can lead to arrogance, thinking one is right about everything and ignoring the grievances of those around.

Perhaps we should all stop and think: while we are desperately watching the market, have we treated the people we should care about as if they were invisible?

If you're also struggling to find a balance between trading and life, or have similar experiences to share, feel free to chat anytime. At least we can remind each other: don't let the numbers bouncing on the screen obscure the most real face in life.

This story hits home; to put it bluntly, it's about making money and losing people, staring at the market until you're blinded. --- It feels like having money makes it easier to self-destruct, taking those who stuck by you through tough times for granted. --- Damn, isn't this my fren? Finding joy in Candlestick charts every day, but who’s getting the cold shoulder at home? --- In the crypto world, it's really all or nothing—either go all in on life or go all in on trading; you can't have both. --- I get it, going from nothing to having a little makes you more afraid of losing it, which ends up exhausting both you and those around you. --- I laughed at that part about location sharing; it's a common issue among traders, overdoing privacy defense and losing trust. --- At the end of the day, it's still a mindset issue—feeling euphoric when making money and restless when losing; who can stand that?

Ah, this situation really hurts. I've been so focused on the market that even the people around me have become strangers.

Wow, this story is really heart-wrenching. Staring at the market until you lose yourself is truly absurd.

It hurts a bit, what you said is really true... from security booths to buying a house and a car, in the end, I lost the most important person, this deal really is a loss.

Really, I've seen it happen often that people lose their dignity by staring at the market all the time... They've made money but lost their feelings, this trade has suffered a big loss.
