Elon Musk just dropped his take on Bitcoin again - calling it a fundamental currency that's actually rooted in energy.
His exact words? "Energy is the true currency."
Interesting perspective linking BTC's proof-of-work mechanism to energy as the ultimate value anchor. Makes you think about what really backs currencies in the end.

Energy is real currency, this sounds quite philosophical... but if that's the case, do PoS coins all have to go cold?

energy = currency is just circular reasoning with extra steps... proof-of-work fans always skip over the governance attack vectors hiding in plain sight. cute frame though

actually... this is conflating energy *consumption* with energy as a value anchor, which is like saying the computational overhead of a system proves its security. they're not the same thing, tbh.

Energy is currency; I have calculated this logic long ago. The real cost lies behind the PoW hash rate, while fiat without this is just air. Hold on to your Private Key, hold on to real assets.
