Jinse Finance reported that Tether's CEO, Paolo Ardoino, posted on platform X that according to the latest audit report for the third quarter of this year, Tether has excess reserves estimated in the billions, with the total value of Tether's assets around 215 billion Dollar, while the stablecoin liabilities amount to about 184.5 billion Dollar. Additionally, the S&P error was not considering that Tether's holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds could generate monthly profits of around 500 million Dollar, and they likely did this intentionally to support Tether's competitors.
