US Oil Opens 3.8% Lower, Nasdaq-100 Futures Up 1%
During early Wednesday Asia-Pacific trading, oil prices fell sharply, with WTI crude dropping 3.83% to $88.816 per barrel; Brent crude fell 4.3% to $99.99 per barrel. US stock index futures rose across the board, with Dow Jones futures up 0.72%, S&P 500 futures up 0.72%, and Nasdaq-100 futures up 1%.
