Coin Circle News: According to 1M AI News monitoring, Arm has broken its 35-year tradition of only providing architecture licensing and released its first self-developed AGI CPU chip, targeting Agent AI cloud inference scenarios. The chip features up to 136 cores with 300W power consumption, manufactured using TSMC's 3nm process. Meta is the first customer, with OpenAI, Cloudflare, SAP, and 5 other companies totaling 8 companies having signed contracts. CEO René Haas predicts the chip will generate an annual revenue of $15 billion within five years, bringing Arm's overall annual revenue to $25 billion. This move marks Arm's transition from a pure architecture licensing provider to a chip manufacturer, directly competing with its own clients such as Nvidia and Qualcomm.
