AegisAI is a dual-layer architecture blockchain designed for AI applications. It separates the consensus layer from the resource layer: the consensus layer, maintained by up to 48,000 validator nodes, secures network state, while the resource layer provides computational power for executing AI tasks via compute nodes. Developers can submit inference requests and retrieve results through smart contract interfaces (e.g., AegisAIEndpoint), with response authenticity verified via Merkle proofs. Core mechanisms include a task lifecycle (submission, computation, verification, soft finality, hard finality) and node admission based on staking and hardware requirements, aiming to deliver decentralized, verifiable, and censorship-resistant AI computation.
