Franklin, Fidelity and major companies submitted new S-1 amendments for the Solana spot ETF.
Nate Geraci, CEO of The ETF Store, announced that a new S-1 amendment for spot Solana ETFs has been filed today by major companies such as Franklin, Fidelity, CoinShares, Bitwise, Grayscale, VanEck, and Canary. These filings specifically include staking features, which are seen as a positive signal for the staking potential in future spot Ethereum ETFs (ETH).
Geraci emphasized that these developments could expedite the approval process, with the possibility that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may approve several ETFs within the next two weeks. The addition of staking reflects growing investor interest in Solana and Ethereum, providing yield opportunities while holding the underlying assets. Market participants are closely watching as this could be a significant step towards the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency ETFs.
