Golden Finance reports that payment giant PayPal announced its USD stablecoin PYUSD has expanded to 9 new blockchains through the LayerZero cross-chain protocol, namely Abstract, Aptos, Avalanche, Ink, Sei, Stable, Tron, as well as the automatically integrated Berachain and Flow. Previously, PYUSD had been natively issued on Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, and Stellar. Since its launch in 2023, the total supply of PYUSD has increased to 1.3 billion USD, aiming to accelerate entry into new markets and further consolidate its position in the encryption economy.
