Golden Finance reports that the CME Group plans to launch financial contracts linked to sports events and economic indicators by the end of the year. According to insiders, this move will put the Chicago-based CME in direct competition with prediction market platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket. Kalshi and Polymarket have quickly entered the financial mainstream in recent years, gaining advisory support from Donald Trump Jr., the son of Trump.
