Abstract generation in progress

Odaily Planet Daily News: World (formerly Worldcoin) announced the release of World ID v4.0, introducing account abstraction architecture into the protocol system. This upgrade transitions World ID from a single key mechanism to an abstract record in the public registry “WorldIDRegistry,” and supports multiple authorization keys, allowing users to generate authentication proofs on different devices or platforms.

World stated that the core improvements of the new version include: support for multi-key and multi-verifier management, enhancing flexibility while maintaining the same identity; increased protocol resilience with the introduction of key rotation, revocation, and optional recovery proxy mechanisms; launching a web-based reference verifier to simplify browser-side experience; generating one-time null values through OPRF nodes to strengthen privacy protection; and adding a trusted party registry to help verifiers identify request sources, prevent phishing attacks, and lay the groundwork for future protocol fee mechanisms.
