On May 7th, a reporter learned from the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission that the commission, in conjunction with the Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Municipal Transportation Commission, jointly issued the “Chongqing Smart Connected Vehicle Highway Testing Management Regulations (Trial)”, further addressing the shortcomings in high-level autonomous driving highway scenario testing systems, standardizing the entire process management of L3 and above intelligent connected vehicle highway testing, and promoting the high-quality development of the city’s intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry in a safe, controllable, standardized, and orderly manner, accelerating the commercialization and application of autonomous driving technology.
