Jin10 reported on August 9 that the Chief of Air Staff of the Indian Air Force stated that the Indian military shot down at least 5 Pakistani fighter jets during a conflict with Pakistan in early May. Air Chief Marshal Singh said that these fighter jets were shot down by the Russian-made S400 missile defense system. Singh also mentioned that the hangar housing the American-made F-16 fighter jets was also hit.
