According to Coinbase Chief Commercial Officer Shan Aggarwal, the company disclosed integration progress from its acquisition of derivatives trading platform Deribit on September 24. The integration has included launching over 100 new USDC-settled perpetual contracts across five markets—the largest perpetual contract expansion in Deribit's history. The platform also introduced stock and ETF perpetual contracts for the first time and deployed a new matching engine to enhance trading infrastructure speed and stability.

Coinbase also connected Deribit spot trading to Coinbase's spot liquidity. Aggarwal noted that substantial work remains in the integration process, with more milestones to be announced in the coming phases.
