The National Digital Asset Commission of El Salvador submitted a proposal for cross-border regulatory sandbox cooperation to the SEC.

On April 23, according to the minutes of the April 22 meeting officially released by the SEC, Perkin Law Firm, El Salvador’s National Commission on Digital Assets (CNAD), and former Goldman Sachs partner Heather Shemilt submitted a cross-border regulatory sandbox cooperation proposal to the SEC, aiming to promote regulatory innovation in the field of digital assets. The proposal provides an opportunity for the SEC to work with international regulators to support the development and optimization of the U.S. digital asset regulatory framework with real-world data.
