Does digital art have a second life?

🥳 The U.S. appellate court has stated for the first time directly that NFT = a commodity that can and should be protected by a trademark!
If the token is issued under a known name or logo, the creator can now completely end the copying just like in traditional retail.
Legal audits when conducting transactions with NFT projects will now include trademark verification.
The status of NFTs is still swinging between "digital certificates" and "securities".
The court ruling pertains to the case of Yuga Labs vs. Ryder Ripps.
P/S Why is this interesting to us. In fact, this is the beginning of the road towards the real use of NFTs and not just selling jpeg images of monkeys.
The real use is:
- Clearly tokenized ownership, for example, on real estate;
- Complete digital identity documents;
- Digital confirmation of intellectual property rights, etc.
