What is rollover?

Rollover, to put it simply, is:
You have a position in hand and made a profit.
Close this position, add the profits to the principal, and open a new position.
Time and again, continuously "roll" the profits into the next order.

For example:
You use 10,000 to go long, earning 2,000, which becomes 12,000;
Then use 12,000 to make the next order, earn 20%, and it becomes 14,400...
Theoretically, if you win several times in a row, the profits would be very exaggerated.

Is it suitable for ordinary people?

To be honest, most ordinary people are not very suitable for this:

Very low tolerance for error: If there is a significant loss in between, your previous rollover profits may be completely wiped out.

Test of mindset: Ordinary people easily get "high" and after winning a few trades want to go all in, but end up losing one trade and losing all their previous gains.

Discipline is needed: rollover must strictly follow take-profit and stop-loss rules, otherwise it becomes gambling.

My experience suggests;

If you are an ordinary novice: Don’t touch rollover, the risk is too great, and it’s easy to go back to square one overnight.

If you are an experienced veteran: you can try in a small range, but it is recommended to only rollover part of the profits and not to stake the principal.

A more secure method: split the profits into two parts, one part is secured, and the other part goes to rollover. This way, even if the rollover fails, there will still be profits retained.
