El Salvador has defended its Bitcoin reserve against the threat of quantum attacks.
The country's government redistributed 6284 BTC (~$680 million) to 14 new addresses, with a maximum of 500 BTC for each.
The goal is to minimize risks associated with the disclosure of public keys and vulnerabilities in the context of the emergence of quantum computing.
