BlockBeats reported that on September 9th, according to official news, the SEC's Crypto Assets Working Group announced it will hold a public roundtable on financial regulation and privacy on Friday, October 17th, from 1 PM to 4 PM at the SEC headquarters. Following the previously held "Spring Acceleration for Crypto Assets Clarity" series of roundtables, the presidential digital asset executive order, and the presidential digital asset working group report, Commissioner Hester M. Peirce directed the Crypto Assets Working Group to take additional measures to promote U.S. leadership in digital assets and financial technology while protecting economic freedom. This roundtable on financial regulation and privacy aims to protect technologies for personal privacy and to have an in-depth discussion on policies related to financial regulation. The roundtable is open to the public and will be held at 100 F Street, SEC headquarters, Washington, D.C.
