Gate Perp DEX is Gate decentralized perpetual contracts exchange designed to blend the transparency of DeFi with the liquidity and performance of centralized exchanges.
It currently supports 447 trading markets, including both major cryptocurrencies and long-tail assets, with leverage of up to 125× for BTC and ETH contracts.
Traders can choose between one-way or two-way position modes, as well as cross-margin or isolated margin setups, giving flexibility in managing risk and exposure.
The platform supports a wide range of professional order types, including limit, market, stop-loss, take-profit, conditional, and iceberg orders.
Unlike AMM-style DEXs, Gate Perp DEX uses an order-book model, which helps provide deeper liquidity and tighter spreads.
Its matching engine is built for high concurrency and low latency, aiming to maintain stability even during extreme market volatility.
Users connect their wallets directly for instant trading, removing the need for centralized custody.
The system is multi-chain, with support for Ethereum, Solana, BSC, Base, and others, and employs LayerZero for cross-chain communication.
All trades and fund movements are recorded on-chain, supported by audited smart contracts and a vault auto-balancing mechanism that helps manage risks and liquidity distribution.
Gate Perp DEX is currently in a public beta phase running from late September to late October 2025.
During this period, traders can earn rewards, rebates, and points for active participation, with incentives such as token airdrops available.
