[October 10th US Stock Options Leaderboard]

Macroeconomic Outlook: Trump threatens to impose an additional 100% tariff on Chinese imports starting in November, combined with China's expansion of rare earth export restrictions, leading to a collective decline in the three major indices (S&P -2.7%, Nasdaq -3.6%), a surge in volatility, and a shift in liquidity towards defense.
Strategy Memo (High IV Environment):
$Tesla(TSLA)$ The price has plummeted sharply, leading to an increase in IV. Prioritize selling protective Put spreads, or use December bull call spreads as a substitute for naked Calls.
$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ The main players prefer to sell Put options, and can use the 11-12 month Put credit spread to take over. If it breaks the intraday low, then use futures/stocks to hedge Delta.
$Apple(AAPL)$ The sentiment is bullish, but the elasticity of tariff costs is significant. It is advisable to use a bullish call spread rather than a naked long position; fundamentally, it has been previously indicated that tariff costs have an impact.
$iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF(IBIT)$ Bitcoin intraday dropped to $112k, IBIT retraced but AUM still close to $94B; if looking at phase oscillation, it is advisable to sell straddles (with protective legs on both ends) or buy put options to hedge coin positions.
