A new trend is being pumped into the market; the prediction market will be one of the hottest crypto trends of 2026. Especially with the anticipated Polymarket airdrop and Kalshi receiving a $300 million investment, there is a hype war beginning between them. It's only a matter of time before hundreds of projects flood this area with a predict-and-win mentality, similar to the meme token craze. Before that happens, I'd like to give a warning to friends who produce or share content in this area: the concept of prediction markets falls into a gray area in Turkey, very close to black, depending on how you express what you say. Legal experts can evaluate it more clearly, but in its simplest form, the predict-to-earn concept can fall under the betting/gambling regime in Turkey. If it involves sports betting, it becomes even more problematic. It is beneficial to be cautious to avoid falling into a legally unfavorable situation.
