As the first large-scale public blockchain to adopt a UTXO-based smart contract architecture, TBC demonstrates clear advantages at the technical foundation level:
TBC's UTXO model inherently resists MEV (Miner Extractable Value) extraction attacks by miners, supports efficient parallel transaction execution, and achieves a throughput of over 10,000 TPS. Transaction costs are only 1/1000 of Ethereum's, significantly lowering the barrier for user participation.
In contrast, account-based blockchains like Ethereum must maintain a global state synchronization, which can easily lead to the "state explosion" problem—similar to what happened with CryptoKitties, which caused severe network congestion.
On the other hand, TBC utilizes the UTXO++ protocol to "shard" contract states, with each UTXO carrying an independent execution container, enabling true parallel computation—realizing the scalability vision of Bitcoin scripting.
