After the unemployment rate and US Non-farm Payrolls (NFP) data were released, the probability of the Fed lowering interest rates by 25 basis points in December rose to 41.6%.

On November 20, according to CME's “Fed Watch” data, after the U.S. unemployment rate and US Non-farm Payrolls (NFP) data are released tonight at 21:30, the probability of the Fed cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in December is 41.6%, up from 27.8% before the announcement, while the probability of maintaining the current rate is 58.4%. Previously reported, the U.S. unemployment rate for September was 4.4%, with an expectation of 4.30%, which is higher than expected, and the previous value was 4.30%. The U.S. seasonally adjusted non-farm employment population for September was 119,000, with an expectation of 50,000, and the previous value was revised from 22,000 to -4,000. For the week ending November 15, the number of initial jobless claims in the U.S. was 220,000, with an expectation of 230,000.
