Aster or Hype? A lot of people have been asking this question lately.
Based on the current price, I lean more toward Aster. If you have less than $500,000, allocating 10% to 20% of your portfolio is enough. The reason is simple—CZ has openly supported it, and after major platforms listed it, there wasn't that kind of aggressive pump. Of course, some people believe in "the strong get stronger" and prefer Hype, which isn't wrong either. But from my observation, if Hype takes off, Aster will likely follow, and its gains could be even bigger. After it doubles, remember to take your principal out as soon as possible. After that, whether it goes up or down is up to you—just don’t repeat last year’s mistake of watching it go up four or five times and refusing to sell, only to end up stuck and blaming others.
How should you position other assets? Just focus on the top blockchain ecosystems. For example, some DeFi protocols on the ETH chain are high-quality targets for the long term.
Get rid of those mediocre junk coins you’re holding. Especially if you don’t have much capital to begin with, don’t treat your portfolio like a convenience store—holding a ton of coins and ending up with no real gains.
