Every time I see the market start to move, I want to jump in and follow along, afraid of missing out. But once I actually enter the market, I feel like sitting on pins and needles: when it rises, I want to take profits immediately; when it falls, I get nervous and start sweating.

This is less about a lack of skill and more about the "mental hurdle" that every novice must overcome.
I have been there too—my mind understands, but my hands always act faster than my thoughts. Chasing after rises and falls, winning makes me feel clever; losing makes me want to turn the tide, cycling back and forth, going further and further off course.
At that time, I thought I was trading, but in reality, I was fighting my own anxiety.

Only later did I realize: most losses in the market do not come from the trend itself, but from within oneself.
Those who can stay in the game long-term often share a common trait—
they do not rely on guesses but stay "sober."

I have set three principles for myself, which might be useful to you:

1. Plan first, then execute.
Set your exit points before entering each trade. No matter how the market moves, do not change your strategy midway! Strictly follow your discipline!

2. Watch less the market, observe more your inner state.
Volatility is not necessarily risky; being manipulated by volatility emotionally is!
The longer your eyes stay on the screen, the more your rationality will fade.

3. Cultivating mental strength is more important than mastering techniques.
The market is like a mirror, reflecting not your analytical skills but your attitude towards uncertainty.
It never rewards those who rush; it only gives to those who can "calm their mind."

The true path to profit is not about catching every wave, but—
being decisive and composed when it’s time to act, and peaceful as a lake when it’s time to stay.

Those who can control their hands, follow rules, and keep their inner peace will ultimately trade more steadily and live more comfortably.
Compared to predicting the market, mastering oneself is often the more difficult and more worthwhile lesson.

I am Zhong Ling, focusing on medium-short-term contracts and medium-to-long-term spot layouts. Sharing thoughts and strategies daily!
