Perps DEX has been a topic of endless discussion—matching speed, transaction fees, the novelty has long been exhausted.

But if you take a closer look at the actual user volume on on-chain contracts compared to CEXs, the gap is quite obvious. Ultimately, users haven't found a compelling reason that makes switching from CEX to DEX unavoidable.

To break through, I think we need to approach it from the angle of live streaming with real-time order placement. Recently, I saw Pumpkin's approach, which is quite innovative—they directly integrated the live stream into the trading interface, completely connecting trading and content. This way, users can watch the live stream and trade simultaneously, lowering the psychological barrier instantly. Combining entertainment and trading experience in this way might be the key opportunity for DEX to make a turn and surpass.

Live streaming sales are indeed quite interesting, but it depends on the team's execution capability. --- Combining live streaming with trading interface integration sounds flashy, but can it truly retain users? --- Pumpkin's approach taps into human weaknesses, but could it become the next tool for cutting profits from retail investors? --- To put it simply, DEX just lacks a compelling reason for ordinary people to get addicted; live streaming might really be the breakthrough. --- Integrating live streaming indeed lowers the psychological barrier, but I'm worried it might evolve into pure entertainment shows. --- I like this idea, but it needs real trading data to support it. --- The gap between CEX and DEX is so big; can just integrating live streaming turn the tide? That's probably too optimistic. --- Watching and trading simultaneously is definitely attractive to retail investors, but whether risk management can keep up is the real question.

Live streaming sales... to put it simply, it's about lowering users' threshold for rational judgment. They jump in before the MACD even shows a golden cross, which is exactly the logic I use for bottom-fishing at high levels. But I have to admit, this really hits retail investors' pain points. No matter how good the technicals of CEX are, they can't compete with this.

Is this live selling method? Honestly, it kind of feels like building a bridge between gambling and trading, and users can easily get hooked.

Live streaming sales are still somewhat interesting, but to be honest, Pumpkin's approach is just the old tricks with a new disguise.

The tactic of live streaming sales has been played out long ago, but Pumpkin's approach is indeed quite interesting.
