It's easy to say, but the key is how to choose the right coins... My choices last year are now a lesson. Really, some people just got lucky and bought BNB, but others just lay flat and ended up losing a lot. Can you blame the timing? Holding long-term sounds comfortable, but can you stay calm after two or three crashes... I don't really believe it. I have BTC, but adding more? It depends on the price. Lying flat and making money is the ideal state, but in reality, most people won't last until that day.
