How significant is the influence of stablecoins in the crypto market? Recently, senior SEC officials provided a rather intriguing figure.

On January 13th, in an interview with a financial media outlet, the SEC Chair mentioned a set of data: the trading volume of stablecoins has reached one-quarter of Bitcoin's trading volume. What does this ratio indicate? From a certain perspective, stablecoins are no longer fringe assets but are gradually becoming a key trading medium in the market.

This reflects that the practicality of stablecoins is increasingly recognized by market participants—whether institutional investors or retail traders—who all need a relatively stable store of value to hedge volatility and settle transactions. As relevant policy frameworks are gradually improved, the role of stablecoins in the future financial system is becoming more clearly defined.

Are stablecoin trading volumes almost catching up to BTC? These numbers are a bit scary; it feels like the SEC might step in to regulate next.

A quarter of stablecoin trading volume compared to Bitcoin? SEC, what are they hinting at... feels like the market has already voted.

Has the trading volume of stablecoins already reached a quarter of BTC? This data looks quite impressive, but to be honest, most of it is just institutions engaging in arbitrage. The true value will depend on future regulation.

Is the trading volume of stablecoins already a quarter of BTC's? Thinking about it this way, our circle is really becoming more and more mature... But on the other hand, why does it feel like this data is still seriously underestimated?

Is the trading volume of stablecoins a quarter of Bitcoin's? Basically, everyone is afraid of volatility, and the true believers are actually fewer.

Is the trading volume of stablecoins already a quarter of Bitcoin's? Really? That data sounds a bit outrageous.

A quarter of stablecoin trading volume compared to Bitcoin? Hmm… that number sounds impressive, but it makes sense when you think about it. After all, there needs to be something to act as an intermediary, or how else would trading in the crypto world work?
