Sharing the quick creator verification process with everyone. On X, I’ve seen almost all tutorials recommend switching to a US region global proxy. But I actually think that’s not suitable for everyone. For example, I am a verified account in Japan, usually using a static residential IP in Japan. If I suddenly switch to a US node for verification, I worry that my account might be flagged for unusual geographic location and face risk control. Luckily, I saw a post from @E5 on X today complaining about this, or I might have fallen into the same trap. Everyone’s accounts are hard-earned with followers, so I think it’s better to be cautious. If your verified account is in a certain region, set your global proxy node to that region for creator verification. If you really need to switch to the US, I think you should calculate how long it takes to fly from your current region to the US. Then turn off the VPN, pretend you’re on a flight to the US, and switch to the US for verification after that period—more secure? As for why all tutorials recommend switching to a US proxy during verification, I also hope experienced users can share the reason.
