Airbus Helicopters has introduced two next-generation rotorcraft concepts for NATO’s Next Generation Rotorcraft Capabilities (NGRC) study, developed with RTX businesses Collins Aerospace and Raytheon, and MBDA. The concepts include a high-performance conventional helicopter and a high-speed compound configuration, both emphasizing modularity, simplicity, and operational efficiency. This initiative builds on Airbus’s military rotorcraft expertise and high-speed flight demonstrators like the X3 and Racer.
