Note: The RMB midpoint rate is determined by the China Foreign Exchange Trading Center each day before the interbank foreign exchange market opens. It solicits quotes from all market makers in the interbank foreign exchange market and calculates the midpoint rate based on these quotes. After removing the highest and lowest quotes, the remaining quotes are weighted and averaged to determine the midpoint. The RMB exchange rate midpoint is the most important reference indicator for the spot interbank foreign exchange market and bank listing rates.
