Abstract generation in progress

More than 30 states will resume their antitrust trial against Live Nation and Ticketmaster after negotiations failed to get more states to join a Justice Department settlement. Seven states have agreed to settle with Live Nation, while the remaining 32 states plan to continue their case, arguing the companies stifle competition and inflate prices. A judge ruled the trial would proceed and admitted evidence against Live Nation’s objections, including an employee’s comments about “outrageous” VIP charges.
