POAP co-founder and General Manager Isabel announced that POAP will officially enter maintenance mode starting March 16, 2026. From that date onward, new issuers will be unable to access the issuance interface, and the platform will no longer undergo active development. Isabel clarified that existing issuers, created POAP collectibles, collector interfaces, and API integrations will remain unaffected and continue to operate. She stated that due to the limited growth of the existing platform, the team has decided to focus resources on building a new open standard for digital collectibles that supports permissionless models.
