Asia Stock Movements | Nikkei Closes Down 68 Points, Three-Day Decline

Asia-Pacific stock markets’ individual developments.

The Japanese stock market declined for the third consecutive day, with the Nikkei Average closing at 53,751 points, down 68 points or 0.13%.

South Korea’s stock market rose over 1%, surpassing the 5,500-point mark. The South Korean Seoul Composite Index closed at 5,549 points, up 62 points or 1.14%.

Taiwan’s stock market was slightly soft, with the Taiwan Weighted Index closing at 33,342 points, down 57 points or 0.17%.

The Australian stock market declined, with the ASX All Ordinaries Index closing at 8,793 points, down 45 points or 0.52%.
