Iran reports 503 deaths and 5,700 injuries in Tehran Province

According to the Central Television reporter, on March 16 local time, the head of emergency affairs in Tehran Province, Iran, stated that so far, 5,700 people have been injured and 503 have died in Tehran Province, most of whom are civilians. The official also said that among the dead are 12 children aged from 2 months to 12 years. On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran, during which Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei was targeted and killed. Subsequently, Iran launched retaliatory strikes against U.S. military bases and Israeli targets in the Middle East. (CCTV News)
