Israel’s Channel 12 reported on the 25th that the U.S. military continues to send additional forces to Israel, and it is expected that six more U.S. F-22 Raptor stealth fighters will arrive in Israel soon. According to reports, on the 24th, 11 U.S. F-22 Raptors flew to an airbase in southern Israel. Previously, a batch of U.S. refueling and transport aircraft had arrived at Ben-Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv.
Additionally, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on the 25th that Royal Dutch Airlines announced it would suspend flights between Amsterdam and Tel Aviv starting March 1. In a statement, KLM said that currently, flights to Tel Aviv are “not commercially feasible.” The report also said that the Australian government has notified its diplomatic families to leave Israel and Lebanon.
Iran and the United States held two rounds of indirect talks in Muscat, Oman, on the 6th and 17th of this month, respectively. The third round of indirect negotiations is scheduled to take place in Geneva on the 26th. Meanwhile, the U.S. continues to amass troops on a large scale in the Middle East.
