People’s Financial News, March 16 — According to Hainan Daily, on the evening of March 15, in response to the prominent issues exposed by CCTV’s “3.15” Consumer Rights Day Gala, including “bleached chicken claws,” “height-increasing marketing tricks,” “universal miracle drug” exosome scams, rental electric bike chaos, and private domain marketing scams, the Hainan Provincial Market Supervision Administration responded swiftly. They immediately held a province-wide video dispatch meeting for market regulation and deployed a comprehensive investigation and rectification effort across the province.

At the meeting, it was announced that all levels of market regulatory departments across the province will focus on the issues exposed during the Gala. They will conduct thorough, all-encompassing inspections of the involved product operators, related service agencies, and similar illegal activities. The approach includes precise investigation of the involved businesses, tracing the source of the problems, and deeply exploring the upstream and downstream industry chains to achieve full-chain closed-loop management. This aims to effectively close regulatory gaps and strengthen consumer market safety defenses.

Additionally, the entire provincial market regulation system will draw lessons from these issues to address both symptoms and root causes, working to establish a long-term regulatory mechanism. They will continuously improve relevant systems and procedures, promoting a shift from the “March 15 centralized rectification” to a “365-day normalized regulation” for consumer rights protection.
