PyroGenesis Canada Inc. has secured a C$450,000 contract with a US structural materials entity for green cement development. This contract marks PyroGenesis’ entry into the cement industry, a sector responsible for over 8% of global CO2 emissions. The company will design and build a system for lab-scale cement production using plasma torch technology to minimize emissions, aligning with its goal of helping the industry decarbonize.
