Palo Alto Networks founder Nir Zuk has launched Cylake, an “AI-native” cybersecurity platform designed to replace on-premises or private cloud security solutions for large enterprises. Cylake aims to provide end-to-end security with hardware and software components, emphasizing operational sovereignty and countering AI-led threats using AI itself. Zuk is joined by cybersecurity veterans Ehud Shamir (co-founder of SentinelOne) and Wilson Xu (former EVP of engineering at Palo Alto), with the venture backed by Greylock.
