Sun Xue graduated.
Today I found someone on Xianyu to help me clean the dust from my computer.
During our chat, I learned that this person is the top seller in the local computer repair category on Xianyu, consistently ranking first and second.
He said he doesn't have a regular job, doesn't run a physical store, just takes orders on Xianyu. Because his ranking stays at the top, he gets so many jobs every day that he can't finish them all, with the latest job keeping him busy until 3 AM.
My service cost 195. Because the Alienware has an inverted fan structure, the price doubled. Cleaning typically takes about an hour, and during the process he also helped me replace a network card for an additional 50.
What surprised me most wasn't the price or the craftsmanship, but that he's already built his own business on Xianyu.
Doing over ten jobs a day, just from cleaning dust he can make over 1000+ in daily income, not counting additional revenue. The key is that this money is almost entirely stable cash flow—no payment collection worries, no store rent to pay, no need to clock in at a company.
Looking back, I've only been in contact with him for 24 hours, but it's already very easy to see why he became the top seller.
First, he responds almost instantly. No matter when you message, he replies quickly.
Second, his replies are enthusiastic, but without any of that pushy, eager-to-close vibe.
Third, his pricing is transparent. Even after arriving, he doesn't suddenly raise prices.
Fourth, he's very professional—brings his own mask and shoe covers, and records the entire process with a camera.
Fifth, he really values reviews. Right after finishing, his first words aren't rushing for payment, but asking if I'm satisfied and if he can get a good review.
If you only read this far, you might think this is just a repairman who knows how to do business.
But in my view, this isn't simply about "computer dust cleaning."
You thought Sun Ge was teaching you how to save money on Xianyu, but actually he's teaching you how to start a business on Xianyu.
On Xianyu, many people only see it as a secondhand platform. Others have already turned it into their entry point for cash flow, reputation building, and personal business.
The future will definitely be the era of one-person companies.
Each of us should have our own business, should turn our personal IP, personal abilities, and personal credibility into truly valuable assets.
Platforms are just tools, traffic is just an entry point. What really matters to scale is yourself.
You are your own king. @justinsuntron
