ME News Update, April 14 (UTC+8), according to official sources, Scroll announced an important proposal regarding the Scroll protocol and governance operations. The team proposed disbanding the Security Council and transferring protocol management authority to the Scroll Admin multi-signature address. The transition is expected to be completed within the next ten days. Scroll stated that the costs of the Security Council are no longer justified compared to actual usage over the past few quarters, and resources should be better allocated to product development and growth. Scroll will work with key stakeholders to explore a new Security Council structure better suited to current market conditions. (Source: PANews)
