Russia claims major changes have occurred in the global energy market

Russia’s President’s press secretary, Peskov, said on April 7 local time that the world is currently facing an increasingly severe economic and energy crisis. Against this backdrop, major changes have taken place in the global energy market. Peskov said that Russia has received a large number of requests for energy procurement, and the relevant negotiations are being advanced in a “manner that is consistent with Russia’s interests.” Also, according to TASS on the 7th, Russian Prime Minister Mishustin said that during a period of turbulence triggered by the crisis in the Middle East, global markets are once again viewing Russia as a reliable supplier, and Russia has the capacity to expand external supplies of scarce resources such as oil and natural gas.(CCTV International News)
