China Merchants Port announced that in February 2026, the total container volume was 16.47M TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%; the cumulative container volume for the year was 35.13M TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%. Among them, the mainland terminals handled 13.03M TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 18.8%; the Pearl River Delta handled 1.4M TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%; the Yangtze River Delta handled 8.67M TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 19.6%; the Bohai Rim region handled 2.75M TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 27.5%; the Southeast region handled 148k TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%; the Southwest region handled 69k TEUs, a decrease of 4.7% year-on-year; Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan ports handled 364k TEUs, a decrease of 20.4% year-on-year; overseas ports handled 148k TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%. Total bulk cargo was 69k tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%.
