Recently, there has been a flood of "social mining/points/badges" posts again, and it feels like everyone is not using products but checking in to work... To put it plainly, time is more expensive than gas. For a badge of identity, I’ve scrolled Twitter until my fingers are numb, but I don’t even know what I can exchange it for in the end. Anyway, I tried for a while and got a bit bored.

Now Layer2 projects are arguing over TPS, fees, and ecosystem subsidies. It’s lively, but once the subsidies stop, whether people stay or not becomes the real question. My approach is very slow: only keep a few protocols that are truly useful, ones where I understand the income and can accept the risks; badges? If I have them, great. If not, that’s fine—don’t empty your life for it.
