Zhejiang: Improve and strengthen Zhejiang Bulk Commodity Trading Center Actively promote the expansion of Zhoushan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone

On the morning of the 19th, Liu Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Governor, presided over a meeting to specifically study the construction of a hub for the allocation of major commodity resources and the work of promoting high-quality development of foreign economic and trade relations. The meeting pointed out that we must enhance our political standing, accelerate project construction progress from the standpoint of overall interests, further strengthen the improvement of the infrastructure system for reserves of major commodities, enhance the strategic reserve and supply-guarantee capacity for oil and gas, ores, grain, and other strategic reserves, and build a solid safety barrier for the industrial chain and supply chain. We must strengthen reform and innovation, and continuously promote the deep, integrated development of major commodities’ “storage, processing, and trading,” further advancing the liberalization and facilitation of investment and trade in major commodities. We should focus on optimizing the ecological environment, better develop and strengthen the Zhejiang Major Commodity Trading Center, expand the scale of bonded ship-fueled fuel refueling, actively advance the expansion of the Zhoushan Port comprehensive bonded zone, and continuously improve service capabilities in trade, maritime affairs, and finance to better support the high-quality development of the local economy.
