Lately, I've been feeling a bit exhausted, but I still get itchy to check out project GitHub repositories and audit reports, trying to appear like a "rational investor"... But after flipping through two pages, my eyes go numb.
Now I've set a simple beginner's reading method for myself: first, see if the code is maintained by someone long-term (not a bunch of empty repositories with last commits from ages ago), then check if the audit "points out issues + confirms fixes," rather than just slapping a logo as a talisman.
When upgrading multi-signature wallets, don’t just look at "a few signatures," but also want to know who is signing, whether there's a timelock, and if emergency permissions could instantly break my floor.
On-chain large transfers and exchange hot/cold wallets being called "smart money" just because they move... Honestly, I can also be swayed by the hype, but at least now I ask myself: does this money relate to the protocol's permissions? Otherwise, I’m just battling my own FOMO.
For now, that’s it. Coffee refilled, no impulsive moves.
