Ningbo Port expects a 14.3% year-over-year increase in container throughput in the first quarter
Viewpoint.com News: On April 8th, Ningbo Port Co., Ltd. released an announcement disclosing key production data for March 2026 and the first quarter.
The announcement shows that in March 2026, Ningbo Port is expected to handle 4.46 million TEUs of container throughput, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%; it is expected to handle 105.18 million tons of cargo, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%.
From January to March 2026, Ningbo Port is expected to have a cumulative container throughput of 13.86 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%; it is expected to have a cumulative cargo throughput of 316.84 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%.
