The financings provided by the VELTA DeFi platform operate in the same way as traditional amortizing loans. DeFi, or decentralized finance, is a system that allows for financial transactions without going through intermediaries, such as banks. Borrowers must deposit collateral on the VELTA DeFi platform, which is used to repay the loan in case of default. Lenders, on the other hand, receive interest on the amounts lent.
